Warranty

Of course I’ll replace work that’s defective or damaged during shipping. (Please send photos of damage on box and damaged piece(s) so I can file a claim.)

Polymer clay is sturdy stuff, but sometimes things happen. Below are potential issues and their fixes.

Light switch plates:

  • If the paint on the screw heads gets scratched off, I suggest using inexpensive acrylic paint to repaint.

Clocks:

  • If the hour hand becomes loose on the shaft, it can be pressed back into place. Remove the nut and the minute hand first to access the hour hand. Use your thumbs to press the hand back onto the shaft.
  • If the minute hand catches on the hour hand, it can be gently bent upward from the tip to allow clearance.
  • If the mechanism doesn’t work (with a fresh battery and the red switch turned “on”), please contact me for replacement.

Magnets:

  • If the magnet becomes separated from the polymer clay, clean each with rubbing alcohol, then use superglue to reattach the magnet. (If there’s a white adhesive sticker, remove that first, because evidently it didn’t work.)

Earrings:

  • If an ear wire becomes bent, it can be gently bent with your fingers.
  • If the polymer part of the earring breaks, I apologize! Contact me for replacement.

Of course, my warranty applies to pieces that were used and cared for as intended.

Details

  • I’m happy to work with you to make sure what you purchase from me sells. I’ll include your gallery (and a link) on my retail web site, and will promote your shop on social media.
  • Looking forward to doing business with you!

Speaking of my retail web site…

    • My retail web site is www.good-night-irene.com. I occasionally offer work on Etsy but it’s typically one-of-a-kind or discontinued work.
    • My retail prices are 2.3 times wholesale prices, and rounded to the next highest dollar.
    • I don’t currently (or for the foreseeable future) participate in any retail shows. I provide educational demonstrations at the Folk Art Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway here in Asheville a few times a year; my work is available for purchase during demonstrations, at the appropriate markup.
