I’m enjoying experimenting with Mokume Gane, a Japanese metalworking surface technique adapted for polymer clay. It’s fun and a little unpredictable. The colors and patterns are all polymer clay — no inks or paints.
- Each batch — or production run — creates a unique pattern that I couldn’t replicate if I tried. Therefore, each earring is unique.
- I use a subtle texture to give these earrings a nice matte finish.

- To create these festive pieces, I formed a leaf-shaped cutter and made a mold for the berries. Efficiency!
